Contact the dog’s veterinarian and the pet owner or the pet owner's contact person as soon as possible. Make sure you are informed about any medical conditions of the dog before each stay. Also, ensure you have the name, address, and phone number of the dog’s veterinarian. Ask for the policy number and the insurer for the dog’s health insurance. This information can be provided by the owner in the pet’s profile on Petbnb and will be visible to the sitter.
Finally, make sure you can always reach the pet owner in case of emergency. If that’s not possible, ask the pet owner to provide the name and number of someone you can contact for consultation.
If the pet does not have its own insurance, in some cases, the Petbnb guarantee may apply.
