Many sitters on Petbnb have experience caring for elderly or sick dogs. Some sitters are veterinarians or veterinary assistants. Having such a sitter nearby is, of course, a great advantage. For older dogs, a calm environment is often important, with few or even no other dogs. In that case, make sure to choose a sitter who only takes care of one dog at a time.
When you send a request to a sitter, you can specify the type of care your dog needs. The sitter will then let you know if they are comfortable providing this care.
Searching with extra filters
To make it easier to find the best match for your furry friend, you can select additional filters. If your dog has behavioral issues, you can specifically look for sitters who have experience with such challenges. Always be honest with the sitter if your dog can be aggressive or has other problems, so the sitter can take this into account and provide the best care for your pet. This can also help prevent situations where your dog may need to be picked up early because the sitter was unaware of certain behaviors. Ultimately, we aim to ensure the well-being of both the sitter and your furry friend at all times.
How does it work?
- Log in at petbnb.nl or petbnb.be.
- Enter the desired date and location on the homepage and click "search" (the magnifying glass).
- You will now see all available sitters and a map of your location.
- At the top of the list of sitters, you’ll see "more filters."
- There, you can select everything you’re looking for in a sitter (see screenshot).
