Why do all bookings have to be paid on Petbnb?

Modified on Wed, 28 Aug at 9:26 AM

The benefits

  • The pet is protected by the Petbnb insurance: liability coverage up to €2,500,000 and vet bills up to €250.
  • Your bank details and personal information are secured.
  • Fair payment: owners pay before the booking begins, and the sitter only receives the payment after the booking is completed. This ensures fair transactions for both parties and allows for refunds in case of any issues.
  • The Petbnb customer service team is here to help you in case of an emergency or issue.
  • If you are a sitter, the more paid bookings you have on our platform, the lower your commission will get.
  • Also for sitters, the more reviews and repeat bookings, the better your visibility on our platform.

What happens if I book outside the platform?
In this case, you are not protected by our insurance, and we cannot assist you in case of an emergency. Petbnb charges service fees to maintain the platform, run marketing initiatives, and support customer service. If our system detects that you are trying to make a payment outside the platform, or as a sitter are accepting payments offsite - your account will be permanently blocked. We would be very sad to see you leave our Petbnb community!
