How do reviews work on Petbnb?

Modified on Mon, 2 Dec at 4:31 PM

After a stay, owners can leave a review. Reviews are subject to guidelines, which are outlined in the  terms and conditions. Ratings range from 1 to 5 paw prints, with 5 being the highest score.

A review is important for other owners when choosing from all the sitters on Petbnb. Encourage owners to leave a review, as this can help you get more work. Petbnb rewards sitters with reviews by placing them higher in the search results. Be sure to ask regular clients for reviews as well, since the more recent the review, the more it influences your position in the search results.

Please note: If sitters receive too many negative reviews, we may take action, and they could eventually be removed from our platform. We want to maintain a safe environment for our community.

The review was submitted incorrectly

Sometimes an owner might intend to give 5 paw prints but accidentally submits a review with, for example, 3 paw prints. Naturally, you want to receive the correct rating as a sitter. Don’t worry—we can fix this for you. Simply have the owner contact us through the contact form, and we’ll resolve it as quickly as possible.

Requesting references

If you have few or no reviews to start with, you can also ask friends or family members to provide testimonials. You can read more on how to do this here.

Tip: read in our blog why positive reviews are important for your Petbnb profile.
