Can I change or cancel a booking?

Modify booking

Once you have accepted the booking, unfortunately, you can no longer make any changes to it. In this case, the owner can cancel the request and send a new one.

However, before you accept the booking, you can still adjust the price as a sitter. You can read how to do this here.


Cancel booking

If you need to cancel a booking, please contact the pet owner immediately. A cancellation can have significant consequences for the owner. After all, they are relying on you and likely have no alternatives. You certainly don’t want to be the reason for a canceled vacation. If you decide to accept a request, make sure you are truly available. Even better, have a backup who can step in if you’re unable to pet sit at the last moment.
