Before accepting the request, you can always adjust the price as a sitter. This can be useful if you want to offer the owner a discount or if the owner mentions during the meet-and-greet that they’d like to book an extra day. Of course, this should always be agreed upon with the owner. If you want to adjust the price after accepting a request, the owner must cancel the accepted request and submit a new one.
Adjusting the price on the website
Go to the booking in the Messenger and select “Edit” in the top right corner, above the accept/reject buttons.
Adjusting the price via the app
Go to the booking in the Messenger and click “Accept.” Before officially accepting, you will see a screen where you can adjust the price and payment date. Once everything is correct, you can finalize the request by clicking the red “Accept Request” button. Note: After this, you will no longer be able to make changes.
