Of course! You’re in full control on Petbnb. In your profile, you can specify which animals you’d like to care for (dogs and/or cats) and list your breed preferences. You can also set preferences for things like dog size, age, whether the pet is neutered, and more. So, if you prefer not to care for large dogs or don’t want puppies or kittens, you can adjust all these filters. Based on these settings, pet owners will search on the platform, and you’ll either appear in or be filtered out of their search results.
Occasionally, a pet owner may still find your profile and send a request that doesn’t fully align with your preferences. In this case, you’re free to decide whether you want to accept the booking or decline it; this won’t affect your booking rate.
We always recommend arranging a meet and greet when you receive a request from a “new” pet owner. During this meeting, you’ll quickly get a sense of whether there’s a good connection with the pet and the owner. This is also a chance to see if your own pet (if you have one) and the guest pet interact well together.
