When you send a request, the sitter receives an email from Petbnb immediately. The sitter's listing shows how quickly they usually respond. Some sitters reply within a few minutes, while others may take a bit longer. We recommend that owners send requests to multiple sitters at the same time because sitters may sometimes decline a request.
Sitters have up to 24 hours to respond to a request; if it takes longer, the request will automatically expire. Sitters receive a warning from us if they fail to respond to requests too often. If this happens repeatedly, the sitters will appear lower in the search results and may eventually be removed from our system.
Petbnb does its utmost to ensure the highest quality of sitters, but sometimes it happens that a sitter does not respond. Therefore, we recommend sending your request to multiple sitters.
