Absolutely! When a sitter responds positively to your request, we highly recommend scheduling a meet and greet first. Of course, you should bring your furry friend along to the meeting.
Sitters will also want to meet because they will be taking care of your dog in their home or staying at your home to look after your cat, for example, while you are away. If you, the sitter, and your pet are all happy with the meet and greet, you can make further arrangements. We recommend booking a trial day and/or night to ensure a good match between the sitter and your pet.
It is mandatory for pet owners to pay through Petbnb. This ensures that reviews on Petbnb are reliable. It also allows us to better monitor the quality of the sitters and reward good sitters with more visibility on Petbnb. Sitters and owners who book and/or pay outside of Petbnb will be removed from the platform immediately. Payment can be made via iDEAL or PayPal using the link in the email or the button in Messenger.
